Anne Dennis MA, LMFT discovered her passion and interest for Marriage and Family Therapy while studying at the University of San Diego. The passion drove her to further studies at Phillips Graduate Institute in Los Angeles, California where she obtained her Master’s Degree in Psychology with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy. Anne is currently licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

Clinical experience includes providing therapy for individuals, couples and families with diagnosis of Adjustment Disorder, Mood Disorders including Major Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Anxiety Disorder, Perinatal and Postpartum Mood Disorder and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. Treatment modalities include Bowen Family Systems, Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Solution Focused Treatment. In addition to providing therapy in a private practice setting, Ms. Dennis held positions as a Staff Clinician, Clinical Supervisor and Assistant Clinical Director in a non-profit setting.

Post-Graduate studies include training in evidenced based treatment modalities (Trauma Focused TF-CBT, Seeking Safety, MAP), Maternal Depression and Disrupted Attachment and Prenatal Mood Disorders, Components of Care-County of Los Angeles-Department of Public Health Maternal, Child, and Adolescent Health Program.
